7th Grade Science traveled to FHSU today for their High Altitude Balloon Launch! They exposed some wheat seeds to varying levels of radiation and will find out what effects this has on the growth and development of the seeds when it returns! What a great way to learn!

At the Shocker Pre-State Challenge: Alec Carlson got first in the high jump, long jump and triple jump in the elite division and Davin Hamby got fourth in shot and discuss in the 1A-3A division.
Update from the Kansas Civic Games….the Tigers scored 14 out of 15 on their oral questions! They are currently in the Supreme Court Library working on their presentation this afternoon. #GoTigers
The Tigers are at the Kansas Supreme Court in Topeka today competing in the Kansas Civic Games. The team of four will compete against 14 other high schools from around the state. The competition tests their knowledge of government and history. PHS is represented by sophomores Jimmy Gardner, Brady Carlson, and Clayton Hammeke. Senior Alec Carlson serves as the Team Captain. #GoTigers
Due to forecasted high winds, the High School JV Golf meet at Protection today, 4/4/2023 has been postponed. The meet has been rescheduled for 4/11/2023.
Great Job Tigers!! They won the 'Whoops' competition and tied for 3rd place in the overall team rankings. 58 teams in this event and 98 overall.
