High school regional track starts at 1 o'clock central time on Friday at Tribune. Admission is eight dollars for adults and six dollars for K through 12 students.

On May 21, there will be free sports physicals at 3:30 in Larned. There is a sign-up sheet in the office. Physical forms and the concussion form need to be printed off the schools website beforehand. Search under physical and concussion. Parents must sign all forms before the student takes their physical. The bus will leave Hanston at 2:45, Burdett 3:00, and Rozel at 3:15. Three awesome lady tigers are going to represent us at Barton.

On Friday the FACS II class provided an early teacher appreciation treat! They served homemade lemonade that could be flavored with different syrups and fresh fruit and popcorn with the teachers favorite toppings!

Congratulations to the Tiger Trumpet Quartet, Briseida Ibarra, soloist, and Kaylea Pelton, soloist, on their top rated performances at KSHSAA State Music Competition. All musicians received I ratings!! Way to go Tigers and Mrs. Brownlee!

The junior high track meet scheduled for today at Greensburg has been canceled due to the weather forecast. There will be no junior high or high school track practice today.

8th grade promotion dance. Permission slips will be sent home on Monday.

Wednesday April 10th two of our seniors signed their letter of intent with NCK Tech out of Hays. Cole Ewy and Leighton Munk plan to attend NCK Tech in the fall to pursue a technical education in Automotive Technology. We are proud of them both and excited for their future!

The High School track meet in Great Bend this Friday is charging a $7 admission price for adults and students to get in to the track meet. Thanks.

Ms. Carlson's robotics class went to FHSU today for the LEGO Robotics Competition! Thomas Boese, Helder Ibarra, and Jackson Enabnit received 4th place in catapult. Cody Holste, Evelyn Brownlee, Gage Hammeke, and Collin Holste competed in Sumobots. Great job!

Spring pictures is March 22nd. This will include class pictures.

Congratulations to our three students that participated in the entrepreneurship contest in Larned. Elizabeth LaPointe, Eli Hoffman and Savannah McDonald. Elizabeth LaPointe brought home a 3rd place win with her company "The Melting Pot." Candle supply company.

Congratulations to Olivia Hands for making first team all-league basketball and all-defensive team. Also to Davin Hamby for making honorable mention all-league basketball.
